That's good news for us, because most of our days are made up of ordinary moments. Folding laundry. Sitting in traffic. Helping a coworker when nobody is watching. Jesus shows us that humble, unseen faithfulness is not small in God's eyes — it's royal.

So today, look for a low place to take. Let someone else have the credit. Do the task nobody wants. Listen longer than is convenient. These small choices echo the King on the donkey.

And notice the invitation in this verse: rejoice! God's power often comes wrapped in gentleness. When your life feels unimpressive, remember that salvation rode in quietly — and it still arrives gently in ordinary lives like yours.
Prayer
Father, thank You that Your King came lowly and gentle, close enough for ordinary people to reach. Teach me to take the low place today and to serve without needing applause. Make my heart joyful in Your quiet, faithful ways. Amen.
