Romans 8:35

Paul asks a question with an obvious answer: can anything rip us away from God's love? Then he lists the worst things life can throw at us, trouble, danger, hunger, even violence. He's not being dramatic. He knew those things firsthand, and still his answer is a firm no.

Here's the practical truth: God's love is not measured by how your day is going. Some mornings you feel close to Him, and other days a crisis, a diagnosis, or a stack of unpaid bills makes Him feel a million miles away. But feelings are not facts. His love doesn't blink when your world shakes.

So today, when something goes wrong, try this: instead of asking 'Where is God?', tell yourself 'God is here, and He still loves me.' Say it out loud if you have to. Write it on a sticky note. Over time, that truth becomes the anchor that holds when everything else is moving.

And when you mess up, and you will, don't run from God. Run to Him. A love that nothing can separate you from is a love you can always come home to, no matter what the day looked like.

This also frees you to love others without fear. When you know your place in God's heart is secure, you don't have to grab and cling and panic. You can give love away generously, because your supply will never run out.

Dear Lord, thank You that Your love for me is not up for debate, no matter what today brings. Help me live like someone who is truly secure in You, steady in trouble and quick to return when I fail. In Jesus' name, Amen.
