Romans 5:5

Disappointment has a way of wearing us down. Plans fall through, people let us down, and prayers seem to go unanswered. But the hope God gives isn't the fragile kind that depends on everything going right. It holds steady because it rests on something unshakeable: His love for you.

Think about what it means that His love was poured out. Not a drop, not a trickle—a full outpouring. When you received the Holy Spirit, God didn't ration His love for you. He filled your heart with it, and nothing you face today can empty that supply.

So how do you live this out? When discouragement creeps in, stop and remember that God's love already lives inside you. Thank Him for it out loud, even before you feel it. Let that truth be the first thing you reach for, instead of worry or self-pity.

Then let it flow outward. Someone in your life is running on empty today—a coworker, a neighbor, a family member. You carry a love that never runs dry, so share it with a kind word, a helping hand, or a quiet prayer on their behalf.

Father, thank You for pouring Your love into my heart through Your Spirit. When disappointment tries to steal my hope, remind me that Your love never fails. Help me live today from that overflow and share it with the people around me. Amen.
