Romans 15:7

Before you ever cleaned yourself up, Christ welcomed you. He didn't wait until you had it all together — He accepted you at your worst. That means your identity is not 'tolerated outsider' but 'fully welcomed child of God.'

That kind of acceptance changes how we treat people. If Jesus made room for you, He asks you to make room for others — especially the ones who are different, difficult, or easy to overlook.

So today, take an honest look at your circles. Is there someone you've quietly written off — a coworker who irritates you, a family member you avoid, a person at church you never talk to? That's often exactly where God wants to start.

Accepting someone doesn't mean agreeing with everything about them — it means treating them as someone Jesus loved enough to die for. So send the text, sit at their table, and listen without rushing to correct.

When you welcome people this way, they get a glimpse of God's heart. And you grow into the person you were always meant to be — someone who reflects His welcome to the world.

Dear Lord, thank You for accepting me long before I deserved it. Help me see people through Your eyes today and welcome someone I would normally keep at a distance. Let my acceptance of others bring You glory. Amen.
