Romans 14:1

Not everyone is at the same place in their walk with God, and that's okay. Some people are brand new to faith, and some are still working through doubts and questions. What they need most from us isn't a lecture — it's a warm welcome. God doesn't ask us to be their judge; He asks us to be their family.

It's surprisingly easy to turn small differences into big fights. We argue about worship styles, what people eat or drink, how they celebrate holidays, or the choices they make as parents. These things can feel important, but quarreling over them rarely draws anyone closer to Jesus. More often, it just builds walls between people who should be standing together.

Here's a practical challenge: the next time someone's convictions differ from yours, choose curiosity instead of correction. Ask questions and actually listen to their story. You can hold your own beliefs firmly without holding them over someone else's head.

Remember, God welcomed you while you were still growing, too. He was patient with your weaknesses and gentle with your questions, and that same patience is what He wants to flow through you now. Accepting someone doesn't mean agreeing with every idea they have — it simply means making room for them at the table.

So this week, look for someone who might feel like an outsider in your church or circle. Reach out, include them, and let love do the talking. People rarely get argued into stronger faith, but they very often get loved into it.

Dear Lord, thank You for accepting me with all my weaknesses and questions. Help me welcome others the same way, with patience instead of judgment. Teach me to value people more than winning arguments. Amen.
