Romans 13:10

Paul makes God's law wonderfully simple: if it doesn't harm your neighbor, and it flows from love, you're on the right track. That one question can guide nearly every decision we make. Before we speak, text, or react, we can pause and ask, "Will this help or hurt the person in front of me?"

Think about the day ahead of you. Love shows up in how you talk to your family before your coffee kicks in, how you respond to a rude driver, and whether you speak kindly about a coworker who isn't in the room. These small moments matter far more than grand gestures.

Notice that love doesn't just avoid doing harm. It actively looks for ways to bless. When we choose patience instead of irritation, generosity instead of selfishness, or forgiveness instead of holding a grudge, we're living out everything God's commands were pointing to all along.

So today, pick one person God places on your heart and do them good on purpose. Maybe it's an apology, an encouraging word, or simply showing up when it's inconvenient. You don't have to overthink it. Where love leads, God's law is already being fulfilled in you.

Father, thank You for making Your will so clear: love does no harm. Guard my words and actions today so that everything I do brings help, not hurt, to the people around me. Make my love the kind that reflects Your heart. Amen.
