Romans 12:9

Real love has no mask. It's easy to say kind words while quietly keeping a grudge, but God calls us to a love that's the same on the inside as it looks on the outside. Today, ask yourself: do my actions toward people match what's actually in my heart?

This kind of love shows up in small, honest choices. It's checking on the friend who stopped calling. It's forgiving someone before they apologize. It's doing good for people who can do nothing for you in return.

Loving well also means taking evil seriously. Not just obvious wrongs, but the sneaky stuff we excuse—the gossip we laugh at, the bitterness we nurse, the little compromises that dull our hearts. Hating evil isn't about being harsh with people; it's about refusing to let darkness get comfortable in your life.

And don't just avoid evil—cling to what is good. Hold onto it like glue. Choose honesty when a lie would be easier, patience when you're frustrated, and kindness when nobody's watching.

Sincere love isn't something we muster up on our own. It flows from knowing how deeply God loves us. Let His love fill you today, and it will spill out genuine and unforced onto everyone around you.

Dear Lord, make my love real, not just something I perform. Help me turn away from evil and hold tightly to what is good, even when it costs me. Fill my heart with Your love so it flows honestly to everyone I meet. Amen.
