Romans 10:13

It is tempting to think purity is something we accomplish by gritting our teeth and trying harder. But God offers a different starting point: simply calling on Him. Salvation and strength were never meant to come from willpower alone. They come from reaching out to the One who is always ready to answer.

Think about where purity gets tested in your everyday life. Maybe it is a habit you keep falling back into, a conversation that drifts where it should not, or thoughts you would be embarrassed to say out loud. In those exact moments, calling on the Lord is not a last resort. It is the power source.

Here is a practical challenge for this week: make calling on God your reflex. Before you click, scroll, speak, or give in, whisper a two-second prayer like, 'Lord, help me right now.' You will be surprised how a short prayer in the moment can change the direction of an entire day.

And when you stumble, do not hide in shame. Call on Him again, because His grace has not run out on you. Purity is not about never falling. It is about knowing who to run to every single time you do.

Dear Lord, thank You that You hear me every time I call. Help me turn to You first in moments of temptation instead of trusting my own strength. Keep my heart and mind pure as I walk with You today. Amen.
