“I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.
It's easy to start strong in faith. We get excited, we serve, we pray, we love people well. But then life gets busy, answers feel slow, and quietly we begin to coast. God sees not just whether we're faithful, but whether we're still growing.
Endurance rarely looks dramatic. Most days it simply looks like showing up again, praying again, forgiving again, and serving when nobody claps. Heaven notices those ordinary, repeated acts of love more than we realize.
So here's a practical challenge: do one small thing today that goes a little further than yesterday. Send the encouraging text. Show up for the person everyone else forgot. Give when it costs you something. Faithfulness grows one quiet choice at a time.
Don't measure your walk with God by how you feel today. Measure it by the direction you're headed. Keep loving, keep believing, keep serving, and trust that God is pleased with steady growth, not perfect performance.
Dear Lord, thank You for seeing every quiet act of love and faithfulness that no one else notices. Help me to keep going when I'm tired, and to grow closer to You instead of coasting. Strengthen me to endure and to finish stronger than I started. Amen.
