Psalms 99:5

There is a difference between knowing about God and actually honoring Him. To exalt someone means to lift them up, giving them the highest place in your thinking, your schedule, and your affections. Ask yourself honestly today: what holds the tallest place in my life right now?

Worshiping at His footstool is a picture of humility. It means coming low before God instead of rushing into His day with a list of demands. Try starting your morning with one quiet moment of reverence before you reach for your phone or the news.

Holy means set apart, completely pure, unlike anything else. We live in a world that treats everything casually, even God. But recognizing His holiness changes how we talk about Him, how we handle our money, and how we treat the people around us.

In real life, this might look like pausing before a big decision and asking what honors God rather than what is simply convenient. It might mean holding your tongue when you want to complain or gossip. Every small act of reverence is worship.

You do not need a perfect voice or a church building to exalt God today. You only need a heart that says He deserves the highest place. Start right where you are.

Holy God, forgive me for the times I have placed other things above You. Help me live today with humility and reverence, honoring You in my words, choices, and relationships. You alone are worthy, and I lift You high. Amen.
