Thanksgiving is not just a nice feeling — it is a choice you make. This verse calls gratitude a good thing, which means it benefits you as much as it honors God. Even on hard days, choosing to thank Him lifts your eyes off your problems and onto the One who holds you.
Try starting tomorrow with thanks before anything else. Before you check your phone or pour your coffee, name three things you are grateful for out loud. It takes less than a minute, but it sets the tone for your whole day.
Praise does not require perfect circumstances. You can sing along with a worship song while driving, whisper thanks while folding laundry, or pause in the middle of a stressful workday to say, "God, You are still good." Praise fits into real life, not just church.

Dear Lord, thank You for Your goodness that never runs out, even when my days are messy. Teach me to begin each morning with a grateful heart and to praise You in the middle of ordinary moments. In Jesus' name, Amen.
