Everyone walks through seasons of need, whether it's finances, health, relationships, or just the weight of life feeling too heavy. In those moments, it's easy to believe God has looked past you. But He hasn't. He sees you clearly, and He remembers you completely.

For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever.
Notice that word "always." Your need is real, but it isn't permanent. God's help may not arrive on your schedule, but His care for you never expires. Hope placed in Him is never wasted.
So if you're in a hard place today, take one honest step: tell God exactly how you feel, and let one trusted person know what you're going through. Asking for help isn't weakness. It's often the very channel God uses to provide.
And if you're in a season of plenty, remember that God often keeps this promise through people like you. Look for one person who is struggling and show up for them this week. A meal, a phone call, or a small gift can remind someone that they have not been forgotten.
The poor and the needy hold a special place in God's heart, and that never changes. Whatever your situation looks like right now, you can rest in this: God's memory of you is perfect, and His hope for you is alive.
Dear Lord, thank You that You never forget me, even when I feel overlooked. Help me hold onto hope in my own seasons of need, and open my eyes to someone around me who needs Your love through my hands today. Amen.
