Psalms 81:1

Praise isn't a performance for people with beautiful voices. It's simply telling God, out loud, that He is the One who gives you strength. You don't have to feel musical or even feel happy to do it. You just have to start.

There's something powerful that happens when praise moves from your head to your mouth. Thinking about God is good, but speaking to Him out loud makes your faith real in a new way. Try it in the car, in the kitchen, or while you're getting dressed in the morning.

And on the hard days? That's when a joyful shout matters most. Praising God before circumstances change is how we remind our own hearts that His strength doesn't depend on our situation. Joy is not pretending everything is fine; it's trusting that God is still good anyway.

So here's your challenge for today: pick one ordinary moment and turn it into praise. Thank God for one specific thing He has done for you, and say it out loud with a smile. It might feel awkward at first, but it will change the tone of your whole day.

Dear Lord, thank You for being my strength when I have none of my own. Help me lift my voice to You today, not because life is perfect, but because You are faithful. Teach me to praise You with real joy. Amen.
