Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
It's easy to doubt God's goodness when life feels unfair—when the wrong people seem to win and you feel overlooked. The writer of this psalm knew that struggle well. Yet he came back to a simple anchor: God is good, and He is especially near to those who keep their hearts clean before Him.
