Psalms 40:17

Today, try naming your needs out loud to God instead of quietly worrying about them. Write down the two or three things weighing on you most, and hand each one over in a simple, honest sentence. That small act of surrender is what living this verse looks like in real life.

Notice the writer doesn't apologize for asking God to hurry. You can be fully trusting and still say, 'Lord, please don't delay.' Faith doesn't mean pretending the wait doesn't hurt—it means bringing the ache to the One who can actually help.

Whatever you're lacking right now—money, strength, answers, or hope—remember that your help has a name. God isn't just aware of your need; He is actively working as your deliverer and provider. Keep asking, keep trusting, and keep showing up before Him.

Dear Lord, You see every need I carry, even the ones I can't put into words. I bring them to You today and ask You to help me and deliver me without delay. Thank You for being my provision and my hope. Amen.
