Psalms 39:7

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of life. Maybe you're waiting on a job, a financial breakthrough, a healed relationship, or an answer that just hasn't come yet. In seasons like that, it's easy to feel stuck and restless, like life is on pause.

This verse invites us to ask an honest question: what am I really waiting for? If our hope is set only on the thing we want, we'll live anxious and disappointed until it arrives. But when our hope is in God Himself, we can have peace even before the answer shows up.

So today, try shifting your focus from the gift to the Giver. Instead of staring at the closed door, spend time with the One who holds the key. Thank Him for what He's already provided, and remind yourself that His plans for you are good, even when His timing is slower than yours.

Then take one small, faithful step forward. Do your work with excellence, be generous with what you have, and keep praying with an open heart. Prosperity in God's eyes isn't just about getting more; it's about trusting Him more. And that kind of wealth no one can take from you.

Dear Lord, I bring You my waiting heart today. Help me place my hope fully in You and not in what I'm asking for. Teach me to trust Your timing and to live faithfully right where I am. Amen.
