Psalms 35:28

Most of us are quick to praise God on Sunday mornings, then go quiet the rest of the week. But praise was never meant to be a once-a-week event. It's meant to be the background music of our whole day — in the kitchen, in the car, at work, and everywhere in between.

So how do you start? Keep it simple. Thank God for one thing before your feet hit the floor in the morning. While you're folding laundry or stuck in traffic, tell Him what you're grateful for. It doesn't have to be eloquent — He just wants to hear from you.

Praise also has a way of changing what comes out of our mouths when things go wrong. It's almost impossible to complain and praise at the same time. So when frustration rises today, pause and name something true about God instead. Watch how that one small shift softens your whole attitude.

And don't keep your praise to yourself. Tell a friend, a coworker, or your kids about a prayer God answered or something good He did this week. Your simple words of testimony might be exactly the encouragement someone else is praying for.

All day long doesn't mean perfectly — it means intentionally. Start where you are, with the words you already have, and let praise become a habit instead of an event.

Father, help my mouth to be full of Your praise today — in the good moments and the hard ones. Remind me to speak of Your goodness to the people around me, and don't let complaints crowd out thanksgiving. In Jesus' name, Amen.
