Here is the truth: God is not reluctant to bless you. He actually delights in it. Your well-being brings Him joy, not annoyance.
So live today like a person whose Father wants good for them. Ask boldly for what you need, whether that is wisdom for a decision, provision for a bill, or strength for a hard week. You are not bothering God when you bring your requests to Him. You are giving Him something He loves to do.
This verse also challenges how we respond when others prosper. It is easy to feel a twinge of envy when a friend gets the promotion or the breakthrough you have been praying for. Practice celebrating instead. Cheer loudly for someone else's win today, and watch how it frees your own heart.
Finally, make praise a daily habit, not a one-time event. The verse says to say it continually: God is great, and He is generous to His people. Look for one specific blessing each day, big or small, and tell someone about it. Gratitude spoken out loud keeps your faith alive and strong.
Living this out is simple but powerful. Expect God's goodness, ask without fear, celebrate others freely, and give thanks constantly. That is what it looks like to trust a God who enjoys blessing His children.
