Psalms 35:18

Most of us find it easy to thank God quietly in our own hearts. But this verse pushes us a step further. David didn't just whisper his thanks to God alone—he promised to praise Him out loud, in front of a whole crowd of people.

So what does that look like for you today? It might mean telling a friend, 'You won't believe what God did for me this week.' It could mean sharing a answered prayer in your small group, or simply saying grace a little louder at the dinner table. Praise was never meant to stay locked inside us.

Here's the beautiful part: your public praise does more than honor God. It strengthens someone else's faith. When people hear how God has come through for you, they start to believe He can come through for them too.

And notice—David said this while he was still in the middle of a fight. He praised before everything was resolved. So don't wait until life is perfect to speak up. Thank God now, right where you are, and let others hear it.

Dear Lord, forgive me for the times I've kept my gratitude to myself. Give me the courage to praise You openly today, so that others might see Your goodness through my words. Amen.
