There are days when life feels heavy—a sickness that won't go away, worry that won't quiet down, relationships that feel broken. In those moments, we often assume our prayers need to be eloquent or impressive. But God isn't waiting for polished words. He hears the honest cry of a heart that turns to Him.
Psalms 34:6

This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
So today, practice crying out. When pain hits—whether in your body, your mind, or your circumstances—say it out loud to God before you say it to anyone else. Something as simple as 'Lord, I need You, I can't do this alone' is a prayer He loves to answer.
Healing often begins the moment we stop carrying our troubles silently. Try writing down what's weighing on you, then naming each one to God this morning. If you can, ask a trusted friend to pray with you—there is real strength in not suffering alone.
Remember that God's rescue may not always look the way we expect. Sometimes He heals quickly, sometimes He walks with us slowly, and sometimes He gives peace right in the middle of the storm. Either way, He hears and He acts—so keep a record of how He answers, and let it strengthen your faith for the next trouble that comes.
Dear Lord, thank You that You hear me when I cry, even when my words are messy and my faith feels small. I bring You my troubles today and ask for Your healing hand on every broken place in my life. Help me trust You until Your rescue comes. Amen.
