Psalms 33:11

Every day we're surrounded by advice that keeps changing. The experts say one thing this year and the opposite next year. Trends come and go, and what everyone praised yesterday gets mocked today. It's exhausting trying to build your life on shifting ground.

But God's counsel never moves. What He has spoken stands firm, not just for your lifetime but for every generation that came before you and every one that will come after. The same wisdom that guided His people thousands of years ago is available to you this morning.

So here's the practical question: whose voice are you actually following? When you face a big decision, a conflict, or a season of confusion, make it a habit to pause and ask, 'What does God say about this?' Open His Word before you open your news feed. Pray before you poll your friends.

This doesn't mean ignoring wise counsel from people around you. It means filtering everything through the one Source that never fails. When your plans fall apart, you can rest knowing His plans haven't. When you don't know what to do, His thoughts toward you are steady, good, and unchanging.

Today, anchor your heart to something that will still be true in a hundred years. His counsel has never failed anyone who leaned on it, and it won't fail you.

Father, thank You that Your wisdom never changes and Your plans never fail. Help me seek Your counsel first in every decision, big or small, and trust Your Word over every other voice. In Jesus' name, Amen.
