Confession is simply being honest with God about what you've actually done. Not vague apologies like 'forgive me for whatever I did wrong,' but naming it: 'I lied. I lusted. I held that grudge.' You can't receive healing for something you refuse to bring into the light.
Here's the beautiful part: God isn't sitting in heaven waiting to scold you. The moment you confess, He forgives—completely. You don't have to grovel, earn it back, or punish yourself first. His forgiveness is ready and waiting.
