Psalms 25:5

Life rarely hands us a clear map. We face dozens of small decisions every day, plus a few big ones that keep us up at night. The psalmist didn't ask God for all the answers at once—just for guidance and teaching, one step at a time. That's a prayer any of us can pray today.

Try starting your morning with a simple, honest request: "God, teach me what I need to learn today." Before you check your phone or rush into your first task, pause and invite Him to lead. Then when decisions pop up later—a hard conversation, a purchase, a crossroads—take a breath and ask Him again.

The hardest part is often the waiting. But waiting on God isn't sitting with your arms crossed; it's trusting Him while you keep doing the next right thing in front of you. It means staying open to His voice and refusing to rush ahead just because you're impatient.

Here's the hope in all of this: you're not asking a stranger for directions. God has already proven His love for you, so you can trust His guidance even when the path ahead is foggy. The One who saved you will not steer you wrong.

Dear Lord, guide me in Your truth today and teach me, even in the small moments I usually rush through. Help me wait for You with a patient and trusting heart. Thank You for being my salvation. Amen.
