Psalms 22:3

Have you ever thought about what happens when you praise God? This verse paints a beautiful picture: He doesn't just hear your praise from far away. He draws close to it. Your worship becomes a dwelling place where God's presence rests.

That means praise is not a performance for a distant audience. It is an invitation. When you thank God out loud in your kitchen, hum a worship song in the car, or whisper His goodness in a hospital waiting room, you are opening the door for Him to be near you in that very moment.

So here is a simple practice: start tomorrow morning with one deliberate word of praise. Name three things God has done for you before your feet hit the floor. When worry creeps in during the day, try swapping one anxious thought for one sentence of thanksgiving. It will feel small, but heaven responds to it.

You do not need perfect circumstances or perfect words. Praise is not about pretending everything is fine. It is about declaring that God is good even when things are not, and trusting that He meets you right there in the middle of it.

Dear Lord, thank You that You come close when I lift Your name. Teach me to praise You in the ordinary moments and in the hard ones, and fill my days with the awareness of Your presence. Amen.
