There are seasons when heaven feels like brass. You pray, and nothing seems to change. You worship, and you feel nothing. If that's where you are today, hear this: feeling distant from God does not mean you have lost Him.
Psalms 22:1

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?
These words were written by David in a moment of deep distress, and centuries later Jesus cried them from the cross. Think about that. The Son of God Himself know what it feels like to be abandoned. So when you cry out in pain, you are not being faithless — you are walking a road your Savior walked first.
Notice that even in agony, David and Jesus both said 'My God.' They didn't walk away; they brought their pain straight to Him. That's your invitation today too. Stop editing your prayers to sound polished, and just tell God the truth about how you feel.
Practical step: this week, write out one honest prayer of lament. Name what hurts, ask God where He is, and then — even if He feels silent — thank Him that He has promised never to leave you. Feelings fade, but His promise stands.
If you feel forsaken right now, take heart. The cross proves God is not far from your suffering; He entered into it. Silence is not absence, and your darkest night is not the end of your story.
Dear Lord, You know what it feels like to cry out and hear nothing, because Your Son did it on the cross. Help me bring You my honest pain instead of hiding it, and remind me that You are near even when I can't feel You. Hold me through this season until the morning comes. Amen.
