Psalms 18:26

God responds to us according to what's really in our hearts. He isn't fooled by our image or impressed by our performance. That should make us pause and ask: what does He actually see when He looks at me?

Purity isn't just about avoiding the big, obvious sins. It's about honest motives, clean thoughts, and being the same person in private that you are in public. It's what you watch when no one knows, what you say when there's no consequence, and what you dwell on when your mind wanders.

Living this out today is simple, though not always easy. Invite God to search your heart each morning. Confess quickly when something isn't right, and don't let small compromises pile up. Guard your eyes and your mind like they matter, because they do.

Here's the beautiful part: when we walk with a pure heart, we experience God's nearness in a real way. He draws close to those who are sincere with Him. The cleaner the window, the more clearly we see Him working in our lives.

So today, don't settle for looking good. Pursue being good from the inside out, and trust that God honors every hidden step of faithfulness.

Dear Lord, search my heart and show me anything that isn't clean. Help me live with purity today, even in the hidden places no one else sees. Thank You for drawing near when I draw near to You. Amen.
