Psalms 147:6

The world tells us to push forward, grab credit, and make sure everyone knows our name. But God works the opposite way. He watches for the person who bends low, who doesn't demand attention, and He personally holds them up. There is real security in that.

So where is pride creeping into your life this week? Maybe it's needing the last word in an argument, struggling to say you were wrong, or quietly keeping score of everything you do for others. Ask God to point it out. He is gentle with honest hearts.

Then take one small step today. Admit a mistake quickly. Let someone else have the spotlight. Do a kind thing without telling anyone about it. These little choices may feel invisible, but nothing done in humility is wasted with God.

And if you feel overlooked right now, take heart. You don't have to fight for your own vindication. God sees you, and He promises to lift up those who stay low before Him. He also sees those who use their strength to hurt others, and He will deal with them in His perfect timing.

Dear Lord, keep me from chasing my own glory, and teach me to walk humbly with You today. Where I want to defend myself, help me trust You instead. Thank You for being the One who lifts me up. Amen.
