Heartbreak is one of the most human experiences there is. Whether it comes from loss, betrayal, or a dream that fell apart, a wounded heart can leave us feeling unseen and alone. But God doesn't just glance at our pain from a distance. He comes close to it, right in the middle of it.

He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Notice the picture of a healer gently binding up wounds. That kind of care is personal, and it takes time. If your healing feels slow, it doesn't mean God has forgotten you. Some wounds need many small moments with Him before they finally close.
So what can you do today? Start by being honest with God. Tell Him exactly where it hurts instead of pretending you're fine. Healing begins when we stop hiding our pain and hand it over to Him piece by piece.
Then let people in. God often does His binding work through a friend who listens, a phone call, or a meal left at your door, so don't isolate yourself. And when you meet someone else with a wounded heart, remember what comfort felt like and pass it on. The healing God gives you today can become hope for someone else tomorrow.
Dear Lord, I bring You the places in my heart that still hurt. Heal them in Your perfect timing, and help me trust You through every step of the process. Use my story to bring comfort to someone else who is hurting. Amen.
