Psalms 130:7

Some of us are waiting in the dark right now—for a diagnosis to turn around, a prodigal to come home, a door to finally open. Hope can feel risky when you've been disappointed before. But this kind of hope wasn't written for people with easy lives. It was written for people in the depths, telling them where to anchor.

Notice that the reason for hope isn't your circumstances improving—it's God's character. His loving kindness is His steady, loyal love, and it doesn't run out when your patience does. You can hope in Him because He never changes, even when everything else does.

And the redemption He offers isn't measured out in teaspoons. It's abundant—more than enough to cover your worst failure and your deepest regret. If shame has been whispering that you've used up your second chances, hear this: God's supply of grace is bigger than your need for it.

So live this out today by hoping out loud. Name one place where you've quietly given up, and bring it back to God in prayer—today, not someday. Then encourage someone else who's waiting, because sometimes the best way to hold onto hope is to hand a little of it away.

Dear Lord, thank You that Your love never gives up on me and Your redemption is more than enough for everything I've done. Teach me to hope in You while I wait, and help me share that hope with someone else today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
