Psalms 130:3

Have you ever replayed an old mistake in your mind, like a broken record? Most of us carry a mental list of every failure, and sometimes we assume God keeps the same list. But here is the truth: if God tallied up every wrong we have ever done, none of us could stand before Him. And the good news is, He doesn't.

Think about what that means for you today. The shame you keep dragging back out has already been dealt with. When you come to God honestly, you don't find an accountant with a ledger; you find a Father with open arms. So you can stop punishing yourself for what He has already forgiven.

There is another side to this too. If God doesn't keep a record of your sins, why do you keep one of other people's? Maybe there is a name in your mental notebook right now, someone who hurt you or let you down. Today, take one small step to release it: tell God you are letting go, and ask Him to help you actually mean it.

Living forgiven changes how you treat people. When you stop keeping score, your relationships get lighter, your prayers get more honest, and your heart gets freer. Grace is not just something you receive; it is something you pass on.

Dear Lord, thank You that You don't hold my failures over my head. Help me to fully accept Your forgiveness and give me the grace to release the people I have been keeping score against. Amen.
