Psalms 127:1

You can work long hours, save every penny, and plan every detail of your life, and still end up feeling empty. That's the honest truth this verse confronts us with. Our effort matters, but it was never meant to carry the full weight of our future.

God isn't asking you to stop working — He's asking you to stop working alone. Before you chase the promotion, launch the business, or stretch to buy that house, bring it to Him first. Ask Him if it's His plan for you, not just your own ambition.

Practically, this looks like starting your day with a simple surrender: 'Lord, this is Your day, Your work, Your provision.' It means praying over your budget, your career decisions, and your family choices instead of just worrying about them. It means holding your plans with open hands.

Here's the freedom in this: when God is doing the building, you can work from peace instead of panic. Success stops being something you have to claw for and becomes something you receive from His hand. He never stops watching over what's His, so you can finally rest.

Father, I surrender my plans, my work, and my future into Your hands. Build what only You can build, guard what only You can guard, and teach me to rest in Your provision. In Jesus' name, Amen.
