Psalms 126:5

Some seasons of life are just plain hard. You keep showing up—praying, working, loving the people around you—while your heart feels heavy. That is exactly the kind of planting this verse is talking about.

Here is the good news: your tears are not wasted. Every prayer you've whispered over a struggling child, every act of kindness nobody thanked you for, every small step of obedience when you felt like quitting—all of it is a seed in God's hands. He has not lost track of a single one.

So what does this look like today? Do the next right thing, even if your heart isn't fully in it yet. Water what God has asked you to plant, and resist the urge to measure the harvest by how you feel this morning.

Remember, a farmer doesn't dig up his seeds every week to check on them. He trusts the process and waits for the season God designed. Your joy is not a maybe—it is a promise with a timeline you can't see yet.

Keep planting, friend. The day is coming when the same hands that worked through the tears will gather in the crop with laughter.

Dear Lord, You see every tear behind the things I'm trying to do for You. Help me stay faithful in this hard season and trust You with the harvest I cannot yet see. Turn my weeping into joy in Your perfect timing. Amen.
