Psalms 119:171

Have you ever noticed that the more you learn about God, the more you want to praise Him? That is exactly how it should work. When He shows you something in His Word, your heart should overflow right out of your mouth. Praise is the natural response of a heart that is being taught.

Try this today: as you read even one verse, ask God to show you one thing about Himself in it. Then, before you move on with your day, say a simple thank-you out loud. It can be as plain as, 'God, thank You that You are faithful.' Small praise spoken from real learning will change you over time.

Praise does not have to happen only at church or during quiet time. Let it spill into ordinary moments, in the car, at the sink, on your walk. When something you read in the morning comes back to you in the afternoon, pause and praise Him right there. That is worship woven into real life.

And keep praising even when you are still learning, still growing, still getting it wrong. God is not waiting for you to be a finished student before you can worship Him. Every lesson He teaches you, even the hard ones, is a reason to thank Him.

Dear Lord, thank You for patiently teaching me through Your Word. Open my lips to praise You today for every truth You show me, and help me carry that praise into every ordinary moment. Amen.
