Psalms 118:29

Some days, gratitude comes easily. Other days, it feels like work. But thanksgiving was never meant to depend on how our day is going. It's rooted in something steadier: God's goodness, which doesn't change when our circumstances do.

Try this today: before you check your phone or start your to-do list, name three specific things God has done for you. Maybe an answered prayer, a provision you didn't expect, or simply the forgiveness you wake up in every morning. Say them out loud. Gratitude grows when we give it a voice.

This kind of thanks matters most on the hard days. You can thank God even when the situation isn't good, because His love for you hasn't moved an inch. Praising Him in difficulty isn't denial. It's declaring that His kindness outlasts whatever you're facing.

And don't keep it to yourself. When gratitude fills your heart, let it spill out. Send an encouraging text, thank someone who has blessed you, or simply tell a friend what God has done. A thankful heart is contagious, and the world could use more of it.
