Psalms 107:43

The Bible says wisdom isn't complicated. It starts with paying attention. Psalm 107 tells one story after another of people in deep trouble—lost, imprisoned, sick, caught in storms—and every time, God stepped in and rescued them. The wise response to all of that is simply to stop and look at it.

Here is your challenge for today: slow down long enough to notice how God has loved you. Think back on the moments He came through—the prayer that got answered, the money that showed up right on time, the friend who called when you were at your lowest. Write those moments down. Keep the list somewhere you will see it.

Then use that list when the next hard season comes. When you are afraid or discouraged, read back over God's past kindnesses. Remembering what He has done gives you courage for what you are facing right now. Old mercies are fuel for today's faith.

And don't keep those stories to yourself. Tell your family at the dinner table. Tell a friend over coffee. When you speak God's kindnesses out loud, your own faith grows, and someone else's does too. That is wisdom in action—considering, remembering, and sharing the faithful love of God.

Dear Lord, open my eyes to see Your loving kindness in my ordinary, everyday life. Help me remember every rescue You have made and never take Your goodness for granted. Amen.
