When God rescued His people, He didn't want them limping out the door in fear. He wanted them walking out with joy and a song on their lips. That tells us something important about how God works: He's not just interested in getting us out of trouble. He wants us to come out changed, celebrating, and full of hope.
So here's a question worth sitting with today: how do you leave your hard seasons? Sometimes we escape a trial but drag the bitterness, worry, and heaviness right along with us. God invites you to travel lighter than that. You can leave the old weight behind and step into what's next with a grateful heart.
And don't overthink the singing part. Nobody's grading your voice. Sing in the car, hum while you do the dishes, play worship music while you cook. Singing is a way of reminding your own soul that God has been faithful, and He will be faithful again.
