Psalms 103:12

Think about it: if you start walking east, you will never bump into west—they travel in opposite directions forever. That's the picture of how completely God deals with your sin. He doesn't file it away for later or bring it up when He's having a bad day. He removes it.

Yet many of us live like our past mistakes are still strapped to our backs. We replay the failure, rehearse the shame, and cringe at the memory. But if God has let it go, we don't get to keep picking it back up.

So here's a practical step for today: when old guilt comes knocking, don't invite it in for coffee. Simply remind yourself, 'That has already been dealt with.' Then get on with living like someone who is actually free—because you are.

And don't forget the other side of this: extend the same mercy to the people who have hurt you. God isn't keeping a record of your wrongs, so don't keep one of theirs. Let someone off the hook today the same way God let you off.

Dear Lord, thank You for removing my sins so completely that they can never find their way back to me. Help me stop digging up what You have already buried, and teach me to forgive others as fully as You have forgiven me. Amen.
