Psalms 100:1

Joy is not just a feeling that shows up when life goes well. It is a choice we make, sometimes even before we feel it. This verse invites every person, in every place and every circumstance, to lift their voice to God with gladness. That includes you, right where you are today.

Try making your praise audible this week. Before you reach for your phone in the morning, say out loud one thing you are thankful to God for. Sing along with worship music in the car, or whisper a simple thank You while you walk or wash the dishes. There is something powerful about letting joy out of your mouth instead of keeping it locked in your head.

Your praise does something in you, and it also affects the people around you. When your family hears you thank God in a hard season, it builds their faith too. When your focus shifts from your problems to God's goodness, worry loses its grip. Joy that is spoken out loud is contagious in the best way.

If joy feels far away today, do not fake it or force it. Real praise is not pretending everything is perfect. It is declaring that God is good and His love for you has not changed, even when circumstances have. Start small, stay honest, and watch how God meets you in it.

Dear Lord, thank You for giving me real reasons to rejoice every single day. Help me lift my voice in praise today, even in the small and ordinary moments. Let Your joy fill my heart and spill over onto everyone around me. Amen.
