Proverbs 3:6

Most of us bring God into the big decisions—a new job, a move, a relationship. But this verse invites us to include Him in everything, even the ordinary Tuesday moments. The car ride to work, the errands, the conversation you're dreading—all of it matters to Him.

Practically, this looks like a simple habit: pause before you act and ask, "God, what would You want here?" Ask Him for wisdom before that hard email. Thank Him while you wash the dishes. Acknowledging God isn't complicated—it's just choosing to remember He's present and letting that shape what you do next.

Here's the part that takes faith: acknowledging God means trusting His direction over your own preferences. Sometimes the straight path He promises isn't the easiest one—it's the right one. When your plans fall apart, you can still trust that He's steering you somewhere good.

Don't worry about saying the perfect words. A quick, honest "Lord, I need You in this" is enough. He honors even the smallest turn of your heart toward Him.

So today, before you check your phone or rush out the door, take thirty seconds to invite God into your day. Then watch how He begins to order your steps in ways you couldn't have planned.

Dear Lord, help me bring You into every part of my day, not just the big decisions. When I'm tempted to rely on my own understanding, remind me to turn to You first. Thank You for promising to direct my steps. Amen.
