Proverbs 3:13

And don't overlook the wise people around you—an older friend, a mentor, a pastor. Listening well is one of the simplest ways to grow wise.

Wisdom shows up in ordinary moments today. It's pausing before you fire off that angry text. It's choosing not to overspend even when the sale is tempting. It's asking, 'What would honor God here?' before making a decision, big or small.

The beautiful promise is that this kind of searching leads to joy. Not the quick splash of pleasure that fades by nightfall, but a deep, steady happiness that comes from living life the way it was designed to be lived. Seek wisdom today, and you'll find more than answers—you'll find delight.

Dear Lord, thank You for promising wisdom to anyone who asks. Help me seek Your truth today in Your Word, in prayer, and in the counsel of wise people around me. Make my steps today guided by Your understanding, so my joy would rest in You. Amen.
