Proverbs 28:8

Money can be made in two ways: by helping people or by taking advantage of them. God notices the difference. Wealth built on the backs of struggling people never carries His blessing, and it rarely lasts.

Ask yourself an honest question today: does anyone pay a price for my profit? It might show up in how you price your work, how you treat an employee or tenant, or whether you help someone in need while expecting something extra in return. God calls us to do business with clean hands.

Here is the surprising part: what we grab unfairly tends to slip away, but what we give with compassion endures. Try living generously this week. Charge a fair price, forgive a small debt, or help someone who cannot pay you back. In God's economy, kindness is never wasted.

Remember that the Lord Himself is your provider. You do not have to squeeze every penny out of people to get ahead. Trust Him enough to earn honestly and give freely, and you will find a security that money cannot buy.

Father, keep my hands clean and my heart generous in the way I earn, spend, and give. Show me any place where my gain has cost someone else, and give me the courage to make it right. I trust You as my provider, in Jesus' name, Amen.
