Proverbs 2:6

Every day hands us decisions—some small, some life-shaping. What to say in a tense conversation, how to handle your money, which way to go with your family or your work. And when we're stuck, most of us scramble for answers everywhere else first: friends, social media, or just our own gut feelings. Those things can help, but none of them are the true source.

Here's the good news: wisdom isn't something you have to manufacture on your own. It comes straight from God Himself, and He gives it generously to anyone who asks. You don't need to be brilliant, educated, or impressive to receive it. You just need to come to Him.

So what does that look like today? Before your next decision—big or small—pause and actually ask God for wisdom, out loud if you have to. Open your Bible and let His words shape your thinking, because that's where His voice is clearest. Then sit quietly for a moment and listen instead of rushing ahead.

Over time, you'll notice something changing. A gentle check in your spirit before you speak, a verse that fits your exact situation, a clarity you didn't have an hour ago. That's not coincidence—that's God giving you the understanding you asked for.

Dear Lord, thank You that You never hold back wisdom from those who come to You. Help me seek You first today, before I lean on my own understanding. Fill me with the knowledge and understanding I need to walk in Your ways. Amen.
