Proverbs 18:22

God describes marriage as one of His good gifts. If you are married, your spouse is not a coincidence or an accident. They are evidence of God's kindness toward you, even on the messy, ordinary days.

So how do you live that out today? Treat your spouse the way you would treat any treasured gift, with gratitude and care. Say thank you for something specific this morning. Speak gently when you would rather snap.

God's favor grows when we nurture what He has given us. That means forgiving quickly, listening with your full attention, and praying for your marriage instead of just complaining about it. Small daily choices protect the good thing God handed you.

If you are single, take heart: God still gives good things in His timing. Do not rush or settle out of loneliness. Instead, focus on becoming the kind of person who can treasure a spouse well.

Dear Lord, thank You for the gift of love and for the people You have placed in my life. Teach me to treasure them with patience, gratitude, and grace. Amen.
