Proverbs 15:33

Wisdom doesn't start with being smart or having all the answers. It starts with taking God seriously. When we remember who He is and who we are, we stop leaning on our own understanding and start listening for His voice in everyday decisions.

So what does that look like today? It looks like humility in small moments. Let someone else talk first at the meeting. Admit when you were wrong instead of defending yourself. Ask for help instead of pretending you have it all together.

Humility is hard because our culture celebrates self-promotion. We want credit, recognition, and the last word. But God's way is different: He lifts up the people who bow down. Honor isn't something we grab; it's something He gives in His timing.

Try this: pick one area today where you usually insist on your own way, and deliberately choose the low place. Serve without being noticed. Thank someone who corrected you. You may feel overlooked, but God sees, and His wisdom grows in that soil.

Dear Lord, teach me to take You seriously in every part of my day. Give me the courage to choose humility, even when no one is watching, and trust You to lift me up in Your perfect time. Amen.
