Philippians 4:13

Paul wrote these words while sitting in a prison cell, not on a mountaintop of success. That changes how we read them. This is not a promise that life will be easy or that we can accomplish anything we dream up. It is a promise that God gives real strength for the hardest days.

Today, that might look like the meeting you are dreading, the bills piling up, or the patience you need with your kids at the end of a long day. Whatever feels bigger than you right now, you are not facing it alone. Christ offers His strength exactly where yours runs out.

Try this: before your hardest task today, pause and quietly ask God for the strength you need. Then take the first small step. Watch how He meets you in the middle of the doing, not just before you start.

His strength often arrives quietly, as unexpected patience, a calm heart, or just enough energy for the next hour. He gives what you need for today, one day at a time. Trust Him with the rest.

Dear Lord, thank You that I never have to rely on my own strength alone. Fill me with Your power today for everything You have placed in front of me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
