Most of us will not be asked to die for someone today. But we will be given smaller chances to bend: letting someone else be right, doing a task nobody will thank us for, or saying sorry first when it would be easier to stay quiet.

Humility usually costs us something. Our pride wants credit, comfort, and the last word. But every time we lay those down, we are walking the same road Jesus walked—just in everyday shoes.

So here is a practical step: think of one relationship or situation where you have been standing your ground. Ask God what lowering yourself might look like there, and do it today, even if no one notices. God always notices.
Prayer
Dear Lord, thank You that Jesus showed us what true humility looks like. Give me the courage to choose the lower place today, even when it costs me something. Make me more like Him. Amen.
