Philippians 2:3

So what does this look like today? Let a coworker get the credit without correcting them. Ask your spouse or a friend about their day and really listen, instead of steering the conversation back to you. Skip the urge to one-up someone's story or win that online argument.

Here's the beautiful secret: people who stop fighting for the spotlight find real peace. Humility frees you from the exhausting job of keeping score, and it makes the people around you feel genuinely valued. That's exactly what Jesus did for us.

Father, forgive me for the times I've acted out of selfish ambition or pride. Today, help me put others first and see them the way You see them. Let my humility be a quiet reflection of Your love. Amen.
