Moses had every reason to be angry. His own sister had just turned against him, and now she was suffering for it. Yet his first response wasn't bitterness or an 'I told you so.' It was an immediate, desperate cry to God on her behalf.

Moses cried to Yahweh, saying, “Heal her, God, I beg you!”
Think about that the next time someone wounds you. The most powerful thing you can do with hurt feelings is turn them into intercession. Praying for the person who hurt you doesn't excuse what they did, but it frees your heart from the poison of resentment.
Notice how simple Moses' prayer was. He didn't use fancy words or long speeches. He just told God exactly what he needed: healing for someone he loved. God isn't impressed by eloquence; He's moved by honesty. One sincere sentence prayed from the heart reaches heaven just as fast as a perfectly worded prayer.
Maybe today you're carrying someone's name heavy on your heart, a sick friend, a struggling child, a broken relationship. Bring them to God again, even if you've prayed a hundred times. Keep crying out. Persistent, honest prayer is exactly the kind God invites.
And if the one who needs healing is you, take courage. The same God Moses called out to is listening to you right now. You don't need the right words. You just need to ask.
Dear Lord, thank You that You hear even the shortest, most desperate cry. Teach me to pray for others, especially those who have hurt me, with a heart like Moses. I bring the people I love to You today; please bring Your healing. Amen.
