You are Yahweh, even you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their army, the earth and all things that are on it, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve them all. The army of heaven worships you.
Think about this for a moment: the God we pray to spoke galaxies into existence and set every star in its place. He made the oceans and everything swimming in them, every mountain, and even the air you're breathing right now. That's not a distant force somewhere out there — that's your Father.
But notice something even more personal. God doesn't just create and walk away — He preserves everything He made. The same hands that formed the universe are holding it together today, and that includes your job, your family, your health, and every worry weighing on your mind.
So how do we live this out? Start your morning with a simple acknowledgment: 'God, You made all this, and You're sustaining it right now.' Step outside and really look at the sky, a tree, or even your own hands. Let creation remind you that the One who keeps it all running can certainly keep you running.
And remember, the hosts of heaven worship Him constantly — your praise joins something already going on. When life feels out of control, worship re-centers your heart on the One who never is. Make praise a daily habit, not just a Sunday event, and watch how it steadies you through the week.
Dear Lord, thank You for creating everything I see and for sustaining it all, including me. Help me pause today to notice Your handiwork and give You the praise You deserve. Amen.
