Matthew 2:10

The wise men had traveled a long way to get to that moment. They faced unfamiliar roads, unknown dangers, and probably plenty of doubts along the way. But when they finally saw the star, their joy wasn't quiet or polite — it was overwhelming. That's what happens when we've been following God and suddenly see His hand clearly.

Notice something important: their joy came in the middle of the journey, not just at the destination. We often tell ourselves we'll be happy once things finally work out — when the job comes through, the relationship heals, or the answer arrives. But God scatters glimpses of His faithfulness along the road, and those glimpses are worth celebrating right now.

So here's your challenge today: start looking for the stars God places in your ordinary life. It might be a friend's timely encouragement, an unexpected provision, or a moment of peace in the middle of chaos. When you spot one, pause and thank Him on the spot. Don't rush past it.

And if you're in a season where the road feels long and the way forward is unclear, keep following anyway. Joy isn't the reward for a finished journey — it's the companion of a faithful one. God is still guiding you, one step and one glimpse at a time.

Dear Lord, open my eyes to see the signs of Your presence in my everyday life. Teach me to rejoice in the small glimpses of Your goodness, even while I'm still on the road. Fill my heart with joy that overflows. Amen.
